every manner of treasury activity; management of working capital and business

Alberto has helped in developing and implementing the strategy for a global restructuring of one of the biggest real state companies in Mexico with more than $2.8 billion bank debt. He has provided investment analysis for a major firm in Mexico's paper industry, analyzing the financial feasibility of installing new paper machines, finishing equipment and distribution warehouses.

Alberto, as Vice-president and Finance Director of the biggest paper and packaging distributor in Mexico, contributed to the acquisition of several independent businesses, which he integrated into the larger firm. He led the efforts of said distribution company to restructure the firm's 32 different entities into a consolidated group. He actively participated in the analysis and selection of a new Enterprise Resource Planning system, whose implementation has led to significant cost savings. Alberto was the leader of the standardization process that was programmed into the new systems.
Throughout his career he has led activities in different functional areas with full P&L accountability, business planning and strategy, internal audit, information systems, credit and collection, accounts payables, treasury and banking relations, budget, tax analysis, accounting, investments and insurance.
He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
